It's hard to remember a time in my life where I wasn't picking up my dad's old building scraps in his basement workshop and trying to make something new out of them. I knew from a young age that I was capable of making something out of nothing and wouldn't rest until the task at hand was accomplished to the high standard I always set for myself.
I never doubted that I was meant to be a designer, or as I often refer to it, an expert problem solver. Along the way I pursued various classes in art and architecture, graduated from Michigan State University's Interior Design program, and have found myself working alongside and learning from the best in the design industry for the last decade in New York City.
After learning the ropes working for Whitehall Interiors, I founded Alchemy Studio where my team and I were responsible for the design and project management of numerous multi-family buildings, private residences, and commercial spaces. It was a literal dream come true, but it never hurts to dream bigger.
I am thrilled to continue to offer the same services and beyond with Cat O'Brien Collective. I bring personality and professionalism to every project with services tailored to each client's individual needs. Collaboration is key, and no project is successful without the dynamic individuals I find myself lucky enough to call my peers. No matter the task, I always aim to deliver a product that is memorable, timeless, and most importantly something that you, my client, are proud to call your own.
